Bergepanzer IV

Here's one of my latest builds. It's Dragons Bergepanzer IV. I have to say that this was one of the best kits, both detail and looks wise, that I've built. This was an OOB build painted with Tamiya Acrylics. The weathering and detaisl were finished off with Vallejo Acrylic, diluted oils and MIG Production weathering powders.

I was priviledge enough to be entrusted with an in box review and created a step by step blog of the entire build and finishing of this kit, all done on the Modelarmour site.

  1. Hi Jurgs,

I almost bought one of these because one of the online model shops had it on sale then I remembered yours and decided not to. Any finish I managed would still be a disappoint compared to this.

    Cheers

  2. Thanks Chris. I take that as real compliment.
You do yourself a disservice though. I'm sure you'd do a super job. It really is a great kit.

  3. Probably but I would find myself comparing it to this, never a good way to build or finish a model I think.

I really like this one and I don't always have the discipline to get the best out of things.

  4. Congrats on setting up the blog, mate. Just love the Bergepanzer, and congrats again on the silverware it won at W&T. FWIW I showed the missus the photos of it after the show and you have her stamp of approval as well! LOL! :-D

  6. Rudi - thanks mate. It was great catching up. I'm just glad I wasn't in Michaels and Matts category. And thank the lovely Mrs Rudi for the compliment.

Daz - cheers mate. It was a fun build. Plently of scope to try different painting styles.

I really enjoyed the build log, and the finished piece is excellent. Not been around much lately due to one thing and another.
Keep em' comin' my friend... Especially that toasted KT!

See you around. Cheers Phil (Apppleyard)

  10. According to Stanford Medical, It is really the ONLY reason women in this country get to live 10 years more and weigh an average of 42 lbs less than us.

(And realistically, it has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret exercise and really, EVERYTHING about "HOW" they eat.)

P.S, What I said is "HOW", not "what"...
